The series finale, produced by Masoud Jafari-Jozani, Abbas Akbari, Habibollah Kasehsaz as well as Reza Ansarian, and directed by Jafari-Jozani, will be aired on May 22, 2021.
'In the Eye of the Storm' spanned the period of history between the revolutionary movement begun by Iran's national hero Mirza Koochak Khan in the early twentieth century, to the freedom of Khorramshahr during the eight-year war between Iraq and Iran in the 1980s.
The story is told through the trials and tribulations, love and relationships of one family.
Among the cast list are Parsa Pirouzfar, Sima Tirandaz, Jahangir Almasi, Laleh Eskandari, Akbar Abdi, Mostafa Zamani, Sam Derakhshani, Gelareh Abbasi, Saeed Rad, Kambiz Dirbaz, Saeed Nikpour, Mohammad-Reza Hedayati, Houman Seyyedi, and Fakhreddin Seddiq-Sharif.
The long list of the cast goes on with Reza Shafiei-Jam, Arsalan Qasemi, the late Mahchehreh Khalili, Niyousha Zeyghami, Mahmoud Pakniyyat, Shahram Qaedi, Farhad Besharati, Sahar Jafari-Jozani, Tannaz Tabatabaee, and Fariba Motekhasses.
'In the Eye of the Storm', produced in 2003-2008, will be replaced by iFilm’s ‘Course of Events’ which will go on air at 18:00 GMT.
